Developing CHIME in The Gambia

This project is testing the feasibility of CHIME to support antenatal mental health in The Gambia. A music intervention was co-developed with local Kanyeleng groups aimed to support pregnant woman's mental health through creating a supportive network and lifting their mood.

Encouraging Fathers' support through CHIME in The Gambia

This project has commissioned two local Gambian Musicians, MLK and Jaliba Kuyateh, to write songs about the importance of partner support during pregnancy and after birth.  They will tour these songs around the country.

CHIME South Africa

This project is working to develop CHIME within South Africa. It is working to explore intersections between traditional music practices and maternal and mental health that might help form the basis of CHIME in South Africa.
